EXIF

EXIF is an acronym for EXchangeable Image File format.  In simple terms, this is the data that is attached to images files when the camera captures an image.  Data such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO, GPS coordinates and so much more are added to the image file and can be read by a variety of programs.

This data allows us to review our settings from previous photos, or plot locations of photos on a map and so much more.
