Chromatic Aberration

Chromatic Aberration (CA) is problem caused when lenses refract different wavelengths (colours) of light and the senor records this as a coloured fringe.  This is usually most visible on backlit subjects.  Higher quality lenses will cause less Chromatic Aberration in the same situation as a lower quality lens.

This effect can be fixed with software.
