Resolution

Resolution is a term used to describe the size of an image in pixels.  For example, a large file might be “High Resolution” with a size of 4000×3000 pixels, while a small file might be “Low Resolution” with a size of 800×600 pixels.  Of course, high and low resolution is a loose term and relative to the user and to the shifting times in photography.
