TTL | the DIGITAL process

TTL is an acronym for ‘Through the Lens’ and usually applies to metering. Most cameras meter the light through the lens and also allow for metering the light of a flash unit burst through the lens. TTL metering is a very accurate of measuring the light as your meter sees what the sensor or film sees.
